The diagonal gabardine weave (stripe in the weave) gives the fabric greater resistance to tearing than a classic poplin.
This composition is used internationally in the production of workwear as it combines the benefits of cotton, making the fabric soft and cool, and polyester, which enhances resistance to wear and discoloration.
It dries quickly, does not wrinkle much, is easy to iron and does not shrink in the wash like a 100% cotton garment.
